Marilyn Yank
__Marilyn Yank has been a student and
teacher of Tai Chi, Qi Gong, and Buddhist practices for 30 years.
She currently teaches several weekly Tai Chi/Qi Gong classes at sites throughout the city of New Orleans and is available for private instruction.
Drawing on many years of experience as a retreat center manager and as an advocate/activist for increasing avenues of access for fresh, local foods, Marilyn prepares the meals for retreats sponsored by the Amma Center.
When possible she incorporates organic produce from from her own market garden, Little Sparrow Farm. She is also a founder, former Executive Director and Program Manager of the New Orleans Food and Farm Network and has over 20 years experience in the non-profit sector.
