YOUR RETREAT EXPERIENCE
Unless otherwise stated, retreats are silent. A detailed schedule is provided when you arrive for registration. Please plan to arrive between 3:pm-5pm on the first day of the retreat. You will be expected to remain for the duration of the retreat unless otherwise cleared with the administration. Wake-up bells ring at 5:30 am and the first meditation begins at 6 am. The final session ends at 9:30 pm. Each student participates in work meditation which is a 15-30 minute period in which you donate your time and energy to helping with chores at the center. Some examples of work meditation are dish washing, cutting vegetables, sweeping and wiping tables.
